Sleep Matters - From Science to Strategy
Participants will have access to recordings from the day they enrol for 120 days, as well as the opportunity to attend one- 90-minute Zoom Q&A session.
By appreciating the science of sleep, we can begin to problem-solve relevant strategies and adaptations in support of sleep dysregulation across the lifespan. While this course was originally designed for occupational therapists asking for help in supporting their clients, it is now being made available for anyone who is interested in making the most of how we spend 1/3 of our life.
Over 9 hours of recorded lessons + a 90 minute Q&A session with Kim & the Relationship Matters team.
MODULES:
In addition to the 120-day access to the pre-recorded materials, students will have the opportunity to participate in one 90 minute Zoom Q&A.

Develop a preliminary understanding of the science of sleep
Develop skills for assessment and analysis of sleep dysregulation across the lifespan
Develop an appreciation of the relevance of treating sleep challenges through regulatory interventions
Develop a rationale for and a repertoire of sensory strategies to support sleep challenges
Develop an understanding of posture and movement challenges related to sleep
Develop a toolbox of environmental adaptations to support sleep dysregulation
Develop a preliminary understanding of alternative sleep interventions
